I highly recommend Greenfire Farms!! While this company has higher priced chicks, I find the quality of the chicks to be superior to any other big company. The friendly customer service responds quickly. This company gives plenty of extra chicks compared to other hatcheries. As for hatching eggs, Greenfire Farms, once again, outperforms every other hatchery. They package their eggs in the best way possible. Hatch rates are high. While I haven’t had a low hatch rate via Greenfire Farms yet (I used a Brinsea incubator.), be aware of the weather before ordering and let the eggs have time to rest before placing them in the incubator. Most importantly: remember that no company can guarantee a high hatch rate because of too many variables, even if they do everything correct on their end. Hatching eggs are always a gamble. Greenfire Farms has lots of helpful information to educate the general public on their instagram. :)

I purchased some Black Copper Maran chicks and some Cream Legbar chicks from GFF about three (3) weeks ago. When I received the package, four (4) extra chicks were included and every single chick arrived alive and now they are growing and thriving. I was a first time customer of GFF and have had soooooo many questions and Jessica has been so gracious and kind and has answered them all. I absolutely will order again from GFF and highly recommend them to anyone seeking some amazing chicks!

I purchased 20 chicks and Greenfire Farms included 1 extra for free. The shipment arrived yesterday with all 21 chicks alive. So far, 20 are doing fantastic. One chick was having some breathing issues, so I sent it to a friend who specializes in rehabilitating chicks and other birds. She updated me this morning and said the chick is now breathing normally. It’s only been my first 24 hours with them, but overall they all seem healthy, active, and doing well. You can actually spot the chick that was struggling to breathe in the video next to the waterer.

Ordered 10 eggs and received 12. I am only a 2 day trans away within the same state. Eggs arrived on time with very proper packaging and its very important to keep in mind that anything can happen during transit that has nothing to do with the hatchery once shipped. I say this because I have seen so many posts in groups where hatcheries are blamed. In this case, there was not a fault I could see. Out of 12 eggs, 2 were infertile from the jump and 3 had funky stuff going on which I am very confident occurred during transit because I have hatched turtle eggs, duck eggs, and goose eggs and haven't seen that before. Out of the clutch SEVEN beautiful, happy healthy chicks hatched. Hatchery was as responsive as possible even though they are busy and were helpful. Very happy!

I’ve ordered plenty of eggs and chicks from Greenfire and I highly recommend. Thanks Janessa for answering my questions and thank y’all for reaching out to me when y’all had silverrudd blue chicks like I requested. If you get a chance, don’t hesitate. They will take care of you and I think they have the healthiest and prettiest chickens there is. Just recently I ordered 10 Swedish flower hen eggs and got 12 and had a 100% hatch rate. That is hard to get but you have that chance with them because it happen to me. Thank again greenfire
